Machines may surpass humans in many cognitive tasks. But intelligence and authority are not the same thing.
A system may reason better than a person in some domains, but that does not automatically give it the right to act, change infrastructure, move capital, affect institutions, or trigger irreversible outcomes. AI may become more capable.
